Melbourne & Victoria
Vastex started in 2013 with one pressure unit and a ute, cleaning driveways in Preston. The work that kept coming back was brick — and specifically brick on building sites, where getting it wrong costs a builder an elevation.
So we specialised. We learned the chemistry, bought the gear that does facades rather than paths, and got the compliance in order so a project manager could put us on a site without a conversation about paperwork. 13 years and about 96,000 square metres later, that is still the business.

01 — How we work
Not values on a wall. These go on the quote, and you can hold us to them.
We do not quote a wall we have not tested. You see the finish on your own brick, at the lowest chemistry and pressure that achieves it, before there is a number attached.
The quote states what is included, what is excluded and what would constitute a variation. If we misjudge the wall, that is our problem and not a variation.
SWMS, certificate of currency, workers compensation, safety data sheets and the water management plan land with your site manager before the truck does.
We inspect the wall dry, not wet, walk it with your site manager, and fix anything flagged before we leave. A wet wall always looks finished.
If salt bloom returns on brickwork we treated and the cause is our method rather than the wall still drying out, we come back and re-treat it at no charge.

02 — The crew
There is no sales team. The person who attends your site visit and writes the quote is the person running the job, and they answer their phone while they are on it.
Everyone holds a White Card, everyone is police-checked, and the two crew leads carry EWP and working-at-heights tickets. Uniform, signage and a clean truck are not vanity — they are what lets your site manager identify us at the gate.
White Card × 6
Police checked × 6
EWP licence × 2
Working at heights × 2
Confined space × 1
First aid × 3
03 — Plant & equipment
Listed because builders ask, and because the answer tells you whether we can actually do a facade.
4,000 psi · 21 L/min
Trailer-mounted, 130°C. Hot water is what shifts oil and gum; cold water just moves it around.
500 mm head
Even coverage on hardstand with no wand striping, and water recovery through the shroud.
Low pressure · high volume
For render, roofs and biological growth. Dwell does the work at under 300 psi.
2 × 1,000 L
For sites without a connection yet, which on a new build is most of them.
Filtration + bunding
Bunding, vacuum recovery and on-site filtration so nothing reaches stormwater.
Hired per job
Specified to the elevation and quoted as a line item, not marked up inside the rate.
Crew, plant and company figures are placeholders pending confirmation.
04 — References
Testimonials on a website are worth very little to a project manager, and we are not going to publish invented ones. Ask for references and we will give you three site managers who have run us on a job, with their numbers, and you can ask them whatever you like.
